Mopani Safaris is an exclusive safari company specializing in custom tours for private groups. We have toured extensively throughout sub-Saharan Africa since 1998 including Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, and Mozambique.

Adventure Tours

Africa's wilderness is the most extreme environment for the outdoor adventurer. From diving with Great White sharks in Capetown to white water rafting the Zambezi River, or climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mopani Safaris can provide the adventure opportunities you've dreamed about.

Alternatively, Africa allows us to experience an entirely different concept of time. To slow down in Africa is to TRULY RELAX. My approach to your tour allows you to be spontaneous and take advantage of opportunities that large tour groups cannot logistically enjoy. I encourage down time between game drives, for journaling, walks, a swim, and naps.

Photographic Safaris

Mopani Safaris takes pride in our ability to encounter wildlife up-close, providing the opportunity for that shot of a lifetime. Passionate about photography, I offer fellow photographers the time necessary to capture the shot. I also provide clients the choice to enjoy the moment through their own eyes while I capture the moment photographically and offer it you on disc before the trip's end. This allows you to print pictures from your tour and share the experience with others upon your return. We can even post your photos on the web during your tour so friends and family can see you in Africa, and follow your journey from home!

Travel & Accommodations

All aspects of travel and accommodations can be arranged base upon levels of comfort and budget. Accomodations range from bushtents, to charming bungalows, to guest houses with amazing architecture and sweeping views. Mopani Safaris custom designs your itinerary to suit your needs. As an American who has traveled extensively in Africa, I am well acquainted with the needs of my clients and well as local customs and protocols for travel in different countries. My degree in International Relations and language abilities with different African Cultures are two significant tools through which my clients benefit. Time after time, I have delivered clients to their dreams and safely home again. As your personal safari guide, it is my mission is to provide you with a safe, affordable, and personalized African experience.
